In case of any likelihood of emergency (the patient experiences any discomfort), it is better for the patient to shift into a hospital setting.

4. Less diet restrictions
As you control the frequency and time of dialysis the dietary requirements also reduce. Please consult your nephrologist/dietician for more information on the same.

There is no free lunch in the world. The disadvantages of home dialysis are requirement of storage space, may be plumbing/wiring work at home, time spent in training, requirement of partner etc.

2. Home haemo dialysis: AV fistula construction, Dialysis machine, RO plant, technician and HD kits
