Animal Genetics
Many of the most serious incurable livestock diseases result not from bacterial or viral infections but from genetic defects. A significant proportion of calves die from genetic disorders or show lower agronomical value causing economic loss.
Screen and diagnose livestock genetic disorders at Sandor deciphering chromosomal anomalies by Karyotyping and DNA testing for detection of disease causing Gene mutations. Our custom research aids development of diagnostic and QTL Biomarkers in livestock using advanced molecular biology approaches.
