Research at Sandor is focused on development of Protein and DNA based biomarkers pertaining to human health and agriculture. We utilise an array of cutting edge Cellular Biology, Proteomics and Genomics tools for this purpose and actively work in collaboration with Scientists of national and International fame.
Some of the ongoing research endeavours at Sandor include development of Cellular Biomarkers of rejection and Immuno suppression in transplantation, and development of molecular diagnostics for a few prevalent Metabolic and Genetic disorders. Being an ICMR task force member in Metabolic Disorders, Sandor is one of the participating centres for Newborn screening for Congenital Hypothyroidism & Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia.
Sandor is recognised as a Private Research Organisation by Dept. of Science and Industrial Research (DSIR), Govt of India enabling it to avail Government grants independently or in collaboration with Scientists from Public and Private Research organisations for R&D activities.
