Thymoglobuline, a polyclonal antibody, is used for induction
and prevention of rejection in SOT. It brings about
immunesuppression by selective depletion of T cells
It is indicated for
- Immunosuppression in transplantation either by prevention or treatment of graft rejection.
- Prophylaxis of acute and chronic graft versus host disease, after haematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
- Treatment of steroid resistant, acute graft versus host disease.
- Treatment of Severe Aplastic Anemia.
